Experience (Minimum Experience Required - Number of years) -Applicant must have proven experience as a handyman. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and practices. Basic understanding of general maintenance methods, electrical, plumbing & painting. Must understand and have swimming pool management experience.
Overall Purpose of the Job -To perform general repairs and maintenance duties. To either manage or assist the Maintenance Supervisor / General Manager with the management of the perennial calendar, quick fixes, special projects and the Lodge Care programme.
People -N/A
Finance -The job requires the handling of money and the authorisation to dispense and deposit company funds and is therefore subject to a fraud and credit check.
Occassional Duties -To carry out any other duties as may be required by the Maintenance Supervisor, the General Manager and/or Divisional Director: Operations / General Manager: Operations.
Education (Formal Qualification Required) -Grade 10 – 12 / Equivalent. Computer literacy is essential.
